Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

Founded in 1984, the Institute for Retired Professionals welcomes retired or semi-retired individuals interested in continuing education and the ongoing pursuit of knowledge. Sponsored by the University of Miami's School of Education, these programs provide an opportunity for individuals over the age of 50 to pursue educational and social programs in a relaxed setting within an university environment. Opportunities exist through the institute's classes as well as through auditing regular credit courses.
