Continuing Professional Education

Continuing professional education and training are made available through the Miami Area Geriatric Education Center (MAGEC). Funded by HRSA's Bureau of Health Professions and the Department of Veterans Affairs, MAGEC is part of the National Association of Geriatric Education Centers (MAGEC) and offers continuing education and training events for licensed healthcare providers, who earn CEUs and CMEs for their participation.

Disciplines served by MAGEC include: Administration, Audiology and Speech, Case Management, Dental Medicine, Medicine, Nursing, Nutrition, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Podiatric Medicine, Psychiatry, and Social Work.
