Center on Aging Certificate Program
Purpose:
- To provide education and training in the unique features of the aging process
- To increase availability of qualified providers serving our community elders
- To enhance participants’ understanding of their own aging process
Course:
- The curriculum will offer a basic proficiency in gerontology and related health care issues
Faculty
- The training program will be coordinated by Center on Aging and Miami Area Geriatric Education Center (MAGEC). Faculty members will be selected from university of Miami Miller School of Medicine and MAGEC Consortium members
