The Center on Aging is providing a format for information sharing and potential collaboration among research scientists at the University of Miami doing research on the biology of aging. On May 30, 2006, this group was formalized to encourage aging research and multidisciplinary activity and biomedical studies. The Center has expanded our monthly COA brown bag lunch series to develop a new parallel basic science brown bag series at which time investigators can present research findings and ideas for future collaboration. The Center's Distinguished Lecture Series also hosts national leaders in the field of Biology and Aging.
