How can I pay my registration?

Can I get CEUs for attending a Distance Learning Program session?

Yes, MAGEC is an accredited CEU provider. The CEUs provided varies depending on the discipline and the session length. To learn more about the CEUs provided by session, visit our Calendar of Activities.

What disciplines do you offer CEUs for?

MAGEC is an accredited provider of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Physicians, Dieticians, Nutritionists, Marriage and Family Therapists, Mental Health Counsellors (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC), Nurses, Nursing Home Administrators, Occupational Therapists, Pharmacists, Physical Therapists, Professional Guardians, Psychologies, and Social Workers.

How long does it take to receive a CEU?

You will receive your CEU certificate within four to six weeks after your attend your training/conference session. In order to receive a CEU the participants should complete a session pre-test, attend the entire session/conference, and complete a session post-test.

Only health care professionals from MIAMI are eligible to attend your conference/training sessions?

Since 2010 MAGEC extended its area of service and now reaches geriatric health care professionals in 10 counties in the South and East Coast of Florida to include Miami-Dade, Brevard, Broward, Glades, Indian River, Martin, Monroe, Palm Beach, St Lucie, and Volusia counties. Additionally, MAGEC has implemented the Distance Learning program to increase professional training and learning opportunities for professionals located in any region who can’t attend training on site. The Distance Learning Program which offers archived video-streamed educational sessions, on-line courses, and blended programs combining real-time interactive teleconferencing.
