Dr. Crocco is the Chief of Geriatric Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Miller School of Medicine and she is Board-Certified in the sub-specialty of Geriatric Psychiatry. As the director of the Memory Disorder Center, she conducts comprehensive memory disorder evaluations and other patient examinations. She interviews families and other caregivers and participates in staffing conferences to determine patient diagnosis and treatment. She conducts patient follow-up management when indicated and prepares a detailed clinical summary report for each patient, as well. As the medical director of the Geriatric Psychiatry Inpatient unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital, she evaluates and treats complex geriatric patients who suffer from psychiatric illnesses, cognitive disorders and co-occurring medical conditions.
